Two of the most crucial components of the New Pentax K7 DSLR is the incredible weather-proofing, and it's capability for HD Video Capture. I have probably not mentioned a lot about either function in earlier articles as a result of the fact that I am probably not that great of a video photographer and I certainly don't do expeditions to the Arctic or something like that, however maybe I missed them as a result of I never use these functions. How thoughtless of me, I apologise! Sorry I am so ordinary.
Anyway. Right here is my take.

Pentax K7The Pentax K7 like the K20D, gives what can realistically be described as exceptional weather-proofing, not like the D90 which does not have any and the Canon 50D which has water proofing which is ineffective.

With the K7, even your low price range equipment lenses such as the 18-55 standard range and 50-200 tele lens would be correctly wind water and temperature-sealed with Pentax's superior climate proofing system, this means that you may even use it under close to arctic circumstances, as it will operate down at 14 degrees fahrenheit (-10C), in comparison with just 32F/0C with other supposedly "weather-sealed" cameras on the market.
Even cameras like Canon’s 1Ds and Nikon’s D3 are nowhere close to the K7 when it comes to this level of functionality. This means in fact that it's a great digital camera within the more extreme travel conditions, where even the most rugged "professional" bodies can usually experience excessive failure rates.

Not only that, however as I already mentioned earlier, it'll also do an awesome job of video capture under these conditions too, which is a truly superior feature. The K7 beats out nearly everyone of the competition within the midrange market segment of the DSLR market, though the others as usual will attempt to play catch up, as all of the copy cats get in on the Pentax's action.
Pentax appears to be doing video more effectively than everybody else and that is past argument. The K7 supports your customary 1280×720p, 30fps HD, and incorporates a jack for an external microphone which you won't get with any of the other the bottom-end video-capable DSLRs.
By the way this implies you could have top of the range sound in stereo should you want. Brilliantly, the K7 makes use of the complete space of the sensor and offers a 1536×1024, giving 3:2 ratio mode , instead of losing a sixth of your frame size like every different digital does when shooting a 16:9 video.
Full credit to the Pentax K7 designers for thinking ahead of the curve.
One other nice characteristic in video mode is the K7’s sensor-primarily based image stabilization system, which makes the Pentax K7 DSLR a digicam that will provide you with great results. It will always help guys like me who perhaps have shaking hands that come as standard. I've to say since beginning to use the Pentax K7 DSLR, Click here for more info on
Pentax K7 I've definitely seen an enormous difference. You'll notice it with the reduction of the volume of snaps you may be deleting after a session. That is the place it actually matters.
